Biografie
I aspire to contribute to global water and food security through digitalisation and innovation in water resources management. My over seven years of experience in the water sector has been from research, service development, government, capacity building and development cooperation perspectives in projects spanning Africa, Asia, Australia, America and Europe. Currently, I am employed by eLEAF, where I formulate cutting-edge geo-digital solutions to increase water productivity, reduce climate risks, prevent corporate risks, and automate reporting and sustainability disclosures. I also work with the World Bank as a consultant to support the Global Solutions Water Team, from irrigation schemes- to country-level analyses, to facilitate development discussions and project assessment needs with the host countries.
My PhD focuses on unleashing the potential of remote sensing data to tackle the growing challenges of water and food insecurity at the global scale. My study aims to translate complex geodata into practical information that can be used as decision-making material at water resource management, planning, monitoring and regulation levels.
