Biografie
Jinghan Li is a postdoctoral researcher at Wageningen University & Research. She obtained her PhD from Wageningen University, where her research focused on community-based innovation intermediaries and their role in facilitating sustainable agricultural transformation in rural China. Her doctoral work take Science and Technology Backyards as a case study to explore how community-based intermediaries played roles in connecting scientific knowledge, local farming practices, and policy ambitions to support sustainable change in agricultural communities.
In her current postdoctoral research, Jinghan explores collaboration dynamics in innovation ecosystems in the high-tech agri-food sector. Using qualitative research and design-oriented methodologies, she studies how diverse actors coordinate, align, and address challenges in emerging ecosystems related to circular agri-food, upcycling of agricultural side streams, and the protein transition. Her broader research interests include innovation ecosystems, mission-oriented innovation, sustainability transitions, community-based innovation, and agri-food system transformation.
