Research:

The main task is to perform data analysis on genome and transcriptome data from experiments carried out within nematology or in collaboration with external partners. More specifically: mapping reads to existing reference genomes, where the aim is to quantify (gene expression analysis) or characterize (identify polymorphisms).

We work with a wide variety of nematodes, from the free-living model nematode Caenorhabditis elegans to plant parasitic species such as potato cyst nematodes (Globodera spp.) And root-knot nematodes such as Meloidogyne spp.
