K (Coco) Wang, MSc

Coco holds a BSc degree in Transportation and Traffic from Southwest Jiaotong University in China. She completed her MSc in Sustainable Supply Chain Analytics at Wageningen University & Research (WUR), graduating with Cum Laude distinction. During her MSc, Coco developed a strong interest in agricultural economics, particularly in the areas of risk exposure, risk attitudes, and efficiency. This passion led her to pursue a doctoral degree with the Business Economics chair group.

Currently, Coco's PhD project is part of the AGENRES Horizon Europe project. Her research focuses on assessing farmers' risk attitudes and their efficiency in fossil fuel use. The goal of her work is to provide recommendations for farmers to reduce their energy dependency and to develop strategies for risk mitigation.
