L (Lili) Jia

Lili Jia received her Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Kyushu University in 2017. In the same year, she joined the College of Forestry at Northwest A&F University, where she is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering of Forestry Products. Her research focuses on two areas: first, the construction of novel enzyme aggregates using biological tools; and second, the valorization of lignocellulosic biomass through green approaches. During her one-year visit at PCC, she plans to design new enzyme aggregates to facilitate protein purification and immobilization processes, and to evaluate their performance in biomass conversion applications.
