I am a PhD researcher at the Forest and Nature Conservation Policy group. Previously, I worked in academia and the public sector on economic aspects of landscape restoration in Brazil, São Tomé & Príncipe as well as Namibia.

As part of the EU Horizon project TRANSFORMIT, my thesis focuses on Integrated Forest Management in Europe and beyond. Specifically, I am interested in the economic reasoning on biodiversity conservation in wood production forests. For that, I use mostly qualitative methods.
