prof.dr. JHH (Justus) Wesseler

I graduated in agricultural, environmental and natural resource economics in Göttingen. My research is on the economics of biotechnology, value chains, and regulatory economics including issues related to coexistence. I focuss on the contribution of value chains to sustainability, and the impact of new technologies.

  Member of the advisory council. Preparing reports on current issues in agriculture and food policy.
• Internation Consortium on Applied Bioeconomy Research (1-7-2025/30-6-2027)
  Will serve two years as past president from July onwards. Helps to strengthen international network of the AEP group and visibility of WUR resulting in additional funded projects.
