TC (Tamara) Vallina, MSc

I am a researcher at Wageningen Marine Research specialising in spatial fisheries ecology and the interaction between fisheries and marine protected areas. My work focuses on spatial fisheries data (such as 'VMS'), and catch data (fisheries logbooks), and monitoring data, to better understand fishing behaviour, spatial effort distribution, and ecological impacts and opportunities in the North Sea.

I am part of the EcoDyn team, which focuses on statistical and theoretical and statistical modelling of ecosystem dynamics. I also contribute to several ICES working groups, including the Working Group on Spatial Fisheries Data (WGSFD), Crangon fisheries (WGCRAN), and Marine Protected Areas (WGMPAS).
