I have over 10 years experience in environment and  sustainable natural resources management having worked with international NGOs and United Nations. My research focus is on land degradation-climate change nexus with specific interests in the the role of restoration in delivering climate change adaptation for poor and vulnerable communities in African drylands.  

I also work on socio-ecological approaches that creates spaces for local knowledge and  communities integration in planning, implementation and monitoring of development interventions.
