Yousra Makanse is promovendus aan Wageningen University & Research binnen de onderzoeksgroep Cultural Geography (GEO). Yousra's huidige onderzoek richt zich op de diversificatie van toerisme in Antarctica, als onderdeel van een NWO-project gefinancierd door het Nederlands Polair Programma.
