Over 3000 datasets registered in Pure
Last month, our data librarians registered the 3000th dataset in Pure. Data are valuable research output. Registration improves the findability and reproducibility of your research data. Did you know that at WUR all archived research data must be registered in Pure?
Why are datasets registered?
A dataset is a publication in itself and should be registered in Pure, the system behind Research@WUR. Datasets are becoming more important in reports and visitations, and thus have impact on your scientific review. Moreover, the data policy of WUR states that all data supporting a publication should be archived and registered. This also applies to unpublished datasets stored on the W-drive or in Yoda.
To support researchers, the WUR data librarians are actively looking for datasets of Wageningen University & Research in data archives from around the world. There are now over 3,000 datasets registered in Pure!

- It improves the transparency and re-use of research.
- It contributes to research evaluations and assessments.

If you want to know if your datasets are registered in Pure, please check your personal page in Research@WUR. The datasets are in the menu below your picture.
If your datasets are not registered yet, please let us know! Email the Data Desk the persistent identifier (e.g. the DOI) or link to the accompanying journal article(s)/ report(s).
