M (Maryia) Mishyna PhD

Maryia Mishyna obtained PhD degree in Biological Production Science from Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology, Japan. Now she is working on the processing of edible insects as new sustainable food and feed source. Her research interests include insect proteins, their fractionation, biologically active natural compounds, formulation of novel insect-based functional food, and volatile compounds.
