PhD candidate

I work as a PhD candidate in hydrology and remote sensing. My work is part of the Hydro-CSI project that aims to understand the fundamental hydrological functions of catchments and their controls. Within this project, I am interested in the link between vegetation characteristics and the water balance. I study this link at local and global scale, for example by combining sap flow measurements, FLUXNET data and satellite derived vegetation information. I work at the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology in Luxembourg (LIST) and I am affiliated with two research groups at Wageningen University: Laboratory of Geo-Information Science and Remote Sensing and Hydrology and Quantitative Water Management.
