Business Science research seminars
The section Business Science regularly organises research seminars. Our chair groups meet in these seminars to share knowledge together. Both internal and guest speakers are invited. The research seminars can be visited by guests, too.
Our chair group projects
Through their projects, our chair groups contribute to sustainable and profitable business performance.
Hybrid/on-campus education
The default option for lectures, practicals and working groups is on-campus education. Lectures may be recorded if lecture rooms are equipped for that purpose, but this is not guaranteed, because technology sometimes fails.
Moreover, lecturers decide whether recording lectures is useful from an educational perspective. Alternatively lectures, practicals and working groups may be given online if that is useful from an educational perspective. Hybrid options where teacher(s) interact with students both online and offline in parallel are usually not provided.

Information Technology
INF's mission is to establish a bridge between the life sciences and the state of the art in information management and knowledge engineering. We want to make sure that state of the art concepts and tools from those fields are used in the application domains upon which our organisation focusses. Conversely, we wish to incorporate knowledge about our application domains into new concepts, tools, models and information systems that we develop.

Operations Research and Logistics
Our mission is to make contributions to the state of the art of Logistics Management and Operations Research to cope with contemporary complexity issues by developing innovative logistics concepts, decision support models and algorithms in the domains of Agribusiness & Food Supply Chains.

Business Management & Organisation
The Business Management & Organisation (BMO) group at Wageningen University & Research studies innovation and entrepreneurship in chains and networks, focusing on the agri-food industry. In a globalising world, where firms face major challenges related to, a.o., global warming, urbanisation and food security, we provide the knowledge and insights needed to internally organise and govern firms appropriately and for firms to effectively collaborate in chains and networks.

Marketing and Consumer Behaviour
The marketing and consumer behaviour group (MCB) carries out research focusing on marketing (management) and consumer behaviour issues related to food and agribusiness, and institutions interested in food and agriculture. We teach in various education programmes.
