Marwa Ahmed receives NWO Mosaic 2.0 grant

Marwa Ahmed, Phd Student at AFI, receives one of the thirteen Mosiac 2.0 grants of the NWO. With her research entitled Livebearing fish shed light on the mystery of placental tolerance she will investigate the tolerance of the immune system to a fetus by comparing fish species with and without placenta from the livebearing fish family Poeciliidae.

Mosaic 2.0 aims to promote the further development of an inclusive work environment within Dutch universities. Mosaic 2.0 is the doctoral grant programme aimed at Dutch graduates with a migration background.
