ELS Colleagues Received Best Supervision Award
The Dutch Educational Research Association (VOR), the Flemish Forum for Educational Research (VFO), and the VOR PhD Network (VPO) have announced the recipients of the Best Supervision Award for the year 2022 at the ORD Conference in Amsterdam in July.
It is with great excitement that we inform you that an ELS team consisting of Omid Noroozi,Judith Gulikers, andHarm Biemans fromWageningen University & Research has been honoured with this prestigious award. The team had been nominated by one of the ELS PhD candidates, Xingshi Gao.
Such recognition is immensely rewarding and inspiring. The recognition bestowed upon the ELS team reaffirms the ELS dedication and commitment to fostering a supportive and enriching academic environment for our PhD candidates. As we all know, being a supervisor involves much more than overseeing academic progress; it entails nurturing and guiding PhD candidates in their transition into independent and accomplished scholars. One of the most fulfilling aspects of the role as supervisor is witnessing the growth of our PhD candidates as they become independent and successful in their academic lives.
