Why Rianne and Gerrit Meester donate annually
Rianne and Gerrit Meester make an annual contribution to the University Fund Wageningen. They both enjoyed studying at Wageningen University and loved all the city had to offer them. Their relation with the university and its student life remained strong, even after graduating.
It should be a given that every Wageningen University graduate offers a financial contribution to the University Fund Wageningen.
"Our annual contribution to the University Fund Wageningen is a wonderful way for us to give substance to our bond with Wageningen. It allows the the fund to support its yearly activities. It also allows foreign students to visit Wageningen and give WU students the opportunity to get to know the world. Furthermore, it supports various prizes and projects which motivate and encourage students to write excellent theses and professors to give exceptional education. Finally, it also supports the university with important research projects and encourages student associations to meet new challenges.
