A digital acceleration for WUR's strategic ambitions
The Wageningen Data Competence Center (WDCC) plays a crucial role in WUR's digital transformation and is directly in line with the WUR Digital Strategy 2025-2028.
By connecting education, research and value creation in Data Science and AI , WDCC strengthens collaboration within and outside WUR. The focus is on strategic decision-making, external financing and structurally embedding digitization in the organization.
Coordination
WDCC manages digitisation within WUR through coordinators for research, education, infrastructure and value creation. The focus shifts to external financing and strategic advice within a proposed 'Board of Digitalization'.
Networks
As a connecting link, WDCC stimulates cooperation between Science Groups, support departments and external partners. By sharing knowledge, infrastructure and research data, WDCC accelerates digital innovation.

WDCC translates WUR's digitization needs into strategic choices and external funding. Solutions are sustainably embedded in the organization through targeted models.
