Lets Talk Climate Policy
On the 7th of december Frans Timmermans will come to Wageningen tot talk about climate policy. Why are the currenct climate goals the way they are? What is so difficult about designing climate policy? This is a unique chance to ask questions and talk with Frans Timmermans.
European Commissioner Frans Timmermans will be present at the invitation of three WUR students, who are organising the symposium for the Honours programme. During the event, Frans Timmermans will give feedback on students' climate policy plans and answer questions from the audience. Lets Talk Climate Policy will be an interactive symposium with a 'College Tour-like setting'. The aim of the symposium is to discuss climate policy challenge.
During the evening, three other Honnours students will hold pitches for policy plans on three themes: energy, activism and nutrition. Frans Timmermans will give feedback on the plans after each pitch. In between, he answers questions from the audience.
