Answers
You can read all of the questions and answers below.

How can this app benefit my company?
It will provide you with insights into consumer patterns. FoodProfiler provides insight into who eats specific foods and what, where, why and how this food is eaten. These insights can be used for strategy development, product development and marketing purposes.

How can I use the information to benefit my clients?
The insights can be used to better align your product with consumer eating patterns. It can help you determine who eats your product and when.

How do I access data?
There are different options available. We would be happy to tell you more about it. Please contact marleen.onwezen@wur.nl for more information.

How do I research a specific product?
The product may already be included in the app. Another option is to add the product manually. We only do this if it does not compromise the reliability of the data collection, but it is possible in many cases. Please contact marleen.onwezen@wur.nl for more information.

Can I also have a brand researched instead of a product?
At this point we do not have any brands in the app.

How much does it cost?
This varies per question. We would be happy to tell you more about it. Please contact marleen.onwezen@wur.nl for more information.

How reliable is the app?
Researchers at Wageningen University & Research conducted several studies to ensure the reliability of the data. The app asks consumers to enter everything they have had to eat and drink in the last two hours. This provides more reliable insights into consumption patterns than current research studies. Other methods use a 24-hour format, which has a bigger margin of error as consumers may struggle to remember what they ate.

Can I indicate the specific demographic that should be approached for this app?
Yes, the data can be filtered based on specific characteristics. If you are interested in the data, please contact marleen.onwezen@wur.nl.
