Sustainable Development Goals in education

Wageningen University & Research aims at contributing to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in all education programmes. Working on the SDGs is integrated in the curriculum of most BSc and MSc programmes.

Sustainable Development Goals

The Sustainable Development Goals are an integral part of the education ecosystem at Wageningen University & Research. Many of the SDGs are woven into the courses for students, as well as in the post-academic and online courses.

We educate students to become academic professionals, who can contribute to sustainable solutions for existing and future complex issues in the domain of ‘healthy food and living environment’ all over the world, and who take their social, personal and ethical responsibilities seriously.

Bachelor's and master's programmes of Wageningen University do cover all SDGs. The SDGs that are strongly represented: Zero Hunger (SDG 2), Good Health and Well-Being (SDG3), Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure (SDG 9), Sustainable Cities and Communities (SDG 11), Responsible Consumption and Production (SDG 12), Climate Action (SDG 13) and Life on Land (SDG 15). See for an overview of the SDGs in the BSc and MSc programmes.
