Biodiversity Hackathon – Develop ideas to drive local biodiversity forward!
Protecting biodiversity might sound like a huge task, but every small step counts—especially when it comes to local actions. Whether it’s planting native plants, reducing waste, or supporting local wildlife, these efforts can have a bigger impact than we realise. Local changes create a ripple effect, helping ecosystems stay balanced and healthy, and ultimately contributing to a more sustainable planet.
The challenge
We challenge YOU to design an innovative product that boosts local biodiversity! Move beyond familiar solutions like bee hotels and bird feeders. Identify an unmet need in your community and create something truly groundbreaking. Can your idea make a real difference?

The ReThink Textile Hackathon has been a fantastic experience! This was my first time joining a Student Challenge, and I wasn’t sure what to expect. I thought it might be formal and intense, but the atmosphere was completely different. It’s been both inspiring and fun!
