Connecting science and practice in crop innovation
Wageningen University & Research is internationally recognised for its expertise in plant sciences and crop innovation.
What sets WUR apart is the way fundamental knowledge and application come together. We connect expertise in plant breeding, phenotyping, genomics and biotechnology with knowledge of resistance, quality traits and crop performance. This gives professionals not only answers to individual questions, but also a broader understanding of how innovations connect across the full scope of crop improvement.
Our courses are developed and taught by researchers and experts working at the forefront of crop innovation. This learning environment brings together scientific depth, technological development and real-world questions from breeding companies. It makes WUR the place for professionals who want to understand how new crops are developed, why certain innovations matter, and how to apply that knowledge in their own context.
