Personal, Reflective and Artistic Students’ Initiatives
Within our WU course (ELS 21806), focusing on cultivating (inter) personal empowerment in the midst of socio-ecological challenges, we invite our students to take the initiative to reflect on their relationship with the (natural) world in a format they find meaningful.
Every academic year, in communication with the students and with their permission, we share one initiative of a student in the attempt to foster further reflection and perhaps inspiration. ’Humanity you never had it from the beginning’ is the video essay of Yorran Bosma which we share in this just ended academic year. Yorran reflects on how he ‘found meaning in sustainability’, despite his lack of faith in humanity.
