• Alfred-Wegener Institute (AWI) (1-7-2023/30-6-2027)
  The Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) of the AWI provides independent advice to the Board of Governors and the Board of Directors in the areas of research, logistics and coordination. It promotes contact with institutions that are active in the Foundation’s field of work both within Germany and abroad. The SAB makes recommendations on the Foundation’s research programs, including planned cooperation with national and international institutions. The SAB advises the AWI Board of Governors on matters regarding appointments.
• REEFolution foundation (1-1-2016/31-12-2099)
  Providing scientific advice to the REEFolution foundation, upon request or unsolicited, independent of the choices made by the foundation. The REEFolution foundation aims to restore and create coral reefs together with local communities to improve and sustain biodiversity, thereby contributing to the awareness of the importance of sustaining natural resources and creating opportunities to improve livelihood conditions.
• North Sea Foundation (18-12-2015/31-12-2099)
  Providing scientific advice to the North Sea foundation, upon request or unsolicited, independent of the choices made by the foundation.
• NOB-underwater sports association De Heiduikers (1-1-1992/31-12-2099)
  Training youth and adults snorkeling and scuba diving (theory and practice).
