The Netherlands government Ministry of Foreign Affairs has initiated different fellowship programmes. For short courses, the most common programmes are OKP, MSP and StuNed. Depending on your nationality and eligibility, you can apply for one of these fellowships. Detailed information can be found under 'Fellowship information'.
If applicable, Wageningen Centre for Development Innovation will send you the admission letter with instructions on how to apply for one of these fellowships.
If you already have funding to finance your participation in the short course, please mention the name of your sponsor on your application. Please also send a letter of confirmation of your sponsorship by the sponsering organisation to email@example.com
After the course coordinator has reviewed your application and accepted you to the course, you will receive an acceptance letter with payment details and an invoice (if required). The application deadline is depending on VISA application procedures. In general 3 weeks is the minimum, but in some cases it can take up to 6 weeks. It's important to keep this in mind before you apply for the short course.
Prepare for the course, some practical matters
After you have been admitted to the course and the payment or scholarship has been confirmed, there are a few practical matters that need attention:
Wageningen Centre for Development Innovation will arrange accommodation for all course participants during the course on basis of full board and lodging. For OKP, MSP, StuNed or ITTO participants, the costs for accommodation will be covered by the fellowship. Wageningen Centre for Development Innovation will also arrange a health insurance for participants during the course. The costs for health insurance are covered by the fellowship.
For self paying participants, the costs for accommodation and health insurance will be invoiced.
More information about the costs for accommodation and health insurance can be found in the cost estimate on the course website.
