The Library is committed to helping researchers and students enhance their skills in finding and managing scientific literature, developing effective search strategies, publishing their work, and increasing the visibility and societal and academic impact of their research. There is an extensive offer of training and courses to support these goals.
Workshops for students
We highly recommend this workshop for bachelor’s and master’s students working on an essay, report, or thesis. During this workshop, you will learn which search systems you can use depending on your information needs and the type of information sources you want to use. We will then focus on how to build a systematic search query for a bibliographic database such as Scopus. You’ll get the chance to try it with your own topic and receive advice from one of our information specialists.

In this 30-minute online session, PhD candidates are introduced to the key tools and services of WUR Library that support the early stages of their research.
