Starting 13 July, Forum Library will follow its summer opening schedule. Also, several maintenance projects will take place in the Forum building and the Library. The work has been deliberately scheduled to take place during the holiday period, but will nevertheless cause some disruption. This may include noise, limited seating and Wi-Fi availability, and a one-week closure of the Library. Below is an overview of the work and how it will affect you,

Summer opening hours & services

From 13 July to 28 August 2026, the Forum Library will be open on weekdays from 08:00 to 18:00 and closed at weekends. Special Collections is open on weekdays from 08:00 to 13:00 unless stated otherwise below. Please note that the Library will be completely closed from Monday, 20 July to Friday, 24 July and on Wednesday, 5 August. Read more about the maintenance work and what you can expect to notice during this period.

Our Interlibrary Loan and Document Delivery services will continue to operate throughout the summer. However, due to holiday closures and reduced staffing at partner libraries, delivery times may be longer than usual. We appreciate your understanding.
