Maria has been selected as the convenor for a track at the EGOS conference in Athens in 2025.

We are thrilled to announce our newly accepted track at EGOS 2025, titled: "Deploying ethical AI in organizations: Implications at the crossroads of creativity and innovation," co-convened with Francesco Paolo Appio, PhD, HDR, (Full professor at Paris Business School) and Mariagrazia Squicciarini , Chief of Executive Office at the Social and Human Sciences Sector (SHS) of UNESCO

To stimulate thought and inspire innovative research, we propose some key research questions. These questions are aimed at addressing the multifaceted challenges and opportunities that AI presents in ethical, organizational, and societal contexts:

  1. How do ethical considerations in AI deployment influence organizational creativity and innovation processes?
  2. What are the implications of ethical AI frameworks on traditional organizational structures and decision-making paradigms?
  3. In what ways can AI ethics contribute to fostering a culture of sustainable innovation within organizations?
  4. How does the integration of ethical AI impact employee engagement, creativity, and productivity in various organizational contexts?
  5. What role do ethical considerations play in the development and implementation of AI-driven organizational strategies?
  6. How can organizations balance the drive for technological innovation with ethical responsibilities in AI deployment?
  7. What are the challenges and opportunities for organizational leaders in embedding ethical AI practices within their companies?
  8. How do different organizational cultures interpret and implement AI ethics, and what impact does this have on creativity and innovation?
  9. What methodologies can be used to assess the impact of ethical AI on organizational performance and competitive advantage?
  10. How does ethical AI influence the dynamics of team collaboration and creative problem-solving in organizations?
  11. What are the ethical implications of AI-driven customer insights and their impact on organizational innovation strategies?
  12. How do organizations navigate the ethical dilemmas presented by AI in high-stakes industries like healthcare, finance, and legal?
  13. In what ways can ethical AI foster or hinder diversity and inclusion within organizational creativity and innovation?
  14. What best practices can be identified for integrating ethical AI considerations into organizational change management?
  15. How can AI ethics be effectively communicated and implemented across different levels of an organization to enhance creative and innovative outcomes?

We look forward to engaging with scholars and practitioners alike to explore these critical questions and advance our understanding of the ethical dimensions of AI deployment in organizational contexts.
