Safe-by-Design in de plantenveredeling
This project aims to help guarantee food safety through the identification and control of potential hazards during the development of novel crops. Our goal is to develop a Safe-by-Design framework for the development of novel crops, in particular those crops that are developed by means of novel plant breeding technologies.
The focus of this project will be on: The development of a Safe-by-Design framework for the prevention and mitigation of potential hazards throughout the development of novel crop plants, including guidelines for safety protocols. Participation with relevant stakeholders to make an inventory of needs in the sector, as well as participation in the development of both framework and guidelines for safety protocols.
